Special Division

Role

The Special Division of the NZ Markets Disciplinary Tribunal exercises the powers and functions of NZ RegCo as they apply to NZX and any related listed entity. The Special Division's role is to foster market confidence that the market rules are applied to NZX and any related listed entity in an impartial and independent manner.

Members

The members of the Special Division are appointed by the Tribunal's Chair on the basis of their independence and because they do not have a conflict of interest. The members of the Special Division are confirmed by the Financial Markets Authority. The Special Division is currently comprised of Matthew Blackwell (Chair), Alan Isaac CNZM, Sarah Miller, Rachael Newsome, Dave Roberton and Mariette van Ryn.
