BIF adds Solros Therapeutics to its investment portfolio

19 December 2024 Booster Innovation Fund adds Solros Therapeutics to its investment portfolio Booster is pleased to announce the addition of Solros Therapeutics Limited to the Booster Innovation Fund (BIF) portfolio, which is held through NZ Innovation Booster LP – an underlying fund that was established as a joint venture between the Booster group, Wellington UniVentures and Otago Innovation Limited. Solros Therapeutics Limited operates in the human health part of the life sciences and medical technologies sector. They are commercialising brain health focused therapies that take advantage of novel mechanisms of action. Solros Therapeutics Limited was formed in 2024, and is classified as seed stage, with its technology origins being from Otago University. BIF will make an initial cash investment of $111,600, with up to $500,000 to be invested across multiple tranches. Following this initial transaction (and issue of additional units to fund the purchase), Solros Therapeutics Limited will represent 0.6% of BIF’s investment portfolio, which currently has over 35 active companies, and a net asset value of $20.1m.
