13 December 2024 Booster Innovation Fund adds BioOra to its investment portfolio Booster is pleased to announce the addition of BioOra to the Booster Innovation Fund (BIF) portfolio. BioOra operates in the human health part of the life sciences and medical technologies sector. It specialises in automating the CAR T-cell therapy manufacturing process to reduce patient costs and increase accessibility. BioOra was formed in 2021, and is classified as early stage, with its technology origins being from Malaghan Institute of Medical Research (MIMR). BIF will make a cash investment of $400,000 (and issue of additional units to fund the purchase), BioOra will represent 2.0% of BIF’s investment portfolio of 36 active companies, and with a net asset value of over $20.4m. Investors can continue to purchase units in BIF on the NZX or can subscribe for units in the fund as part of the process described in the fund’s Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) that is available at www.booster.co.nz.
