Special dividend

NZX RELEASE 2 December 2024 Special dividend Asset Plus Limited (NZX: APL) has announced a special (cash) dividend of 5.0 cents per share. As a result of the 35 Graham Street settlement the Board has assessed all options for the Company at this time. The Board has determined that there are currently no strategic opportunities of sufficient scale, that would be compelling for shareholders compared to a partial return of capital to shareholders. As APL is a PIE, the dividend can be treated as excluded income for New Zealand income tax purposes. Imputation credits of 0.0277 cents per share will be attached to the dividend representing income tax previously paid by the Company. Overseas investors will receive an additional supplementary dividend of 0.0126 cents per share to offset non-resident withholding tax. The record date for the dividend is 10 December 2024 and the payment date is 18 December 2024.
