NZX to close on 26 September to honour Queen Elizabeth II 14 September 2022 - New Zealand's stock exchange (NZX) will be closed on 26 September, the day of the national public holiday announced by the New Zealand government to honour the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. With the Queen having served as New Zealand's head of state for 70 years, NZX recognises the importance of appropriately commemorating her contribution to our country. After consultation with the market, it was agreed NZX should be closed on 26 September. As such, NZX's trading, clearing and settlement functions will be closed for the day. NZX wishes to thank our stakeholders for their engagement and support. All NZX operations will resume on 27 September.
