4/09/2020, 08:58 NZST, ADMIN

4 September 2020 Sky's Chief Financial Officer to move into new advisory position Sky Network Television Limited's CFO Blair Woodbury will become Strategic Advisor to the Chief Executive from 18 September 2020, following the release of the company's Full Year Results on 10 September. Mr Woodbury joined Sky in June 2019 with broad experience in strategic consulting, including at McKinsey and Company, and business transformation projects at NZ Post and Telecom/Spark. Mr Woodbury has made a significant contribution as CFO in the last year, including as a key player in the $157m capital raise in May, renegotiating Sky's $200m Banking Facility and navigating the complex financial issues arising from COVID-19 and Sky's transformation. Sky has benefitted from Mr Woodbury's strategic thinking, his wide networks across New Zealand business, and his ability to look beyond the short term and capitalise on opportunities. The new advisory role will enable Mr Woodbury to free up time from core CFO work and draw on his strategic skills to assist Sky to deliver on its ambitious growth agenda in FY21. Recruitment for a new CFO will commence this month. The leaders of Sky's Finance and Commercial Finance teams will report directly to CEO Martin Stewart until a new CFO joins Sky.
