Skellerup invests in liquid silicone rubber & wins prestigious award Skellerup announced today it is investing in liquid silicone rubber (LSR) capability by injecting US$1.1 million for a 35% stake in privately owned US company Sim Lim Technic LLC (Sim Lim). The odourless and hygienic properties of LSR make it an ideal fit for Skellerup's strategy to focus on highly specialised rubber and plastic componentry which fulfils a critical function within a broader product. LSR is ideal for sterile environments and use in high-precision medical and consumer products.
