Sale of Australian hydro generation assets has completed

29 March 2018 NZX Announcement Trustpower announces the sale of its Australian hydro generation assets has completed As announced to the market on 22 December 2017, Trustpower has sold its Australian hydro generation assets, which includes the Hume, Burrinjuck and Keepit hydro generation assets owned by GSP Energy Pty Ltd. The sale was on a conditional basis to Meridian Energy Australia Pty Limited a subsidiary of Meridian Energy Limited for A$168 million (pre capital gains tax and other adjustments).
